His story
A huge character in a fragile little body.
We wish we didn’t have to say ADOPT or SPONSOR, because our last summer babies should be looking for their homes now. Like all teenagers, they should have their whole happy life ahead of them — growing up in their own homes, getting into trouble and being loved by their people.
Ziggy was always one of those popular kids: naughty and cocky, with that cool-kid vibe, popular with hoomans and cat citizens alike. And then, sadly, he started with a snotty nose, followed by a few unsuccessful treatments, and then he collapsed and had a stay at the clinic. He came back more fragile. His head was crooked because of ear polyps, we are still fighting persistent ear infections, and he didn’t grow as much as his buddies did. Then his best friend Millou was adopted, and we think he felt a little lonely too.
For now, we just want to get our old Ziggy back — his boisterous, bushy-tailed self. So we need help with his ear treatments, vitamins, vet follow-ups and, if needed, polyp removal surgery.
In a good home, with a proper diet, vitamins and no other cats potentially bringing infections to him, we really believe this boy could thrive. Sadly, the shelter environment is hard on a fragile baby, especially one who is already struggling to stay healthy.
So please consider adopting this special boy in the real world — or sponsoring him virtually if you cannot give him a home. Ziggy is such a huge character trapped in a fragile little body, and we really want to give him the chance to become the cheeky, confident boy he was meant to be. โค๏ธ

Could you give Ziggy a home — or sponsor his care?
Ziggy needs a calm, loving indoor home, ideally as an only cat. If you can’t adopt, you can still help by sponsoring his ear treatments, vitamins and vet care.
