Adoption policy
Thank you for considering adopting one of our cats or kittens.
Our priority is to make sure that every cat in our care goes to a safe, loving and permanent home. For this reason, we have a few basic adoption requirements that apply to all potential adopters.
Our adoption requirements
A personal meeting
We would like to meet the prospective adopter personally before an adoption is agreed.
A home check
A home check may be carried out by one of our team members before the adoption is completed.
Sterilisation
All cats must be sterilised. Whenever possible, the cat will be sterilised before adoption. If a kitten is still too young to be sterilised at the time of adoption, the adopter will be required to sign a statement agreeing to have the kitten sterilised as soon as it reaches the appropriate age.
These requirements are not intended to make adoption difficult. They are simply part of our responsibility to the animals in our care, and help us ensure that every adoption is safe, responsible and permanent.
