Food, litter and medicine make a direct difference
Do you have cat food or medication you no longer need — or would you like to donate some? Practical donations go straight to the cats in our care, every single day.
What we need every month
With 200+ cats in our care, the numbers add up quickly. Here's roughly what it takes to keep everyone fed and healthy.
Dry food
160 kg adult · 80 kg kitten
Every month, for adult cats and growing kittens.
Wet food
~16 tins a day
Especially for kittens and older or sick cats.
Cat litter
~40 bags a month
To keep our indoor areas clean and healthy.
Medicine & special care
In a large cat population, parasite control is constant. We use a lot of flea and tick medication and other anti-parasite treatments — especially panacur and metronidazole — as well as dewormers.
We also need antibiotics, vaccines, snap tests for viruses, supplements and vitamins, and special diet foods — for the smallest kittens, post-operation patients, cats with no teeth, and those with kidney problems, diabetes, allergies, diarrhoea or other conditions.
