Her story
A gentle girl who deserves a home.
Mommy Betty and her four kittens were left at our door two years ago, and Smol was the only one who was never adopted.
Smol is our fragile baby. Fostering keeps saving her life again and again, and it breaks our hearts that this sweet, gentle girl has had such a difficult time. A shelter is not a good place for sensitive cats, and she cannot spend her whole life in a cage just to stay on her special diet.
It becomes a vicious circle — a few weeks at the clinic, then a few weeks or months in a cage or with her loving foster family, then back to the shelter, followed by another relapse, and the same rodeo starts all over again.
She doesn’t have anything contagious — only food sensitivities that trigger pancreatic flare-ups. She is social, loves other cats and people, and is only two years old. In a home where she isn’t exposed to other food or leftovers around rubbish bins, she could live a long and happy life.
