A tribute

Behind every strong woman, there is a cat.

Someone once sent us a fridge magnet that said something like “behind every strong woman there is a cat.” As our generous sponsor would like to stay anonymous, we’ll do it that way — we’ll thank him, and the cat standing behind him, or this time in his stead: Leonard. Because we all know who really influences whom in some households. 😄

We want to thank you for the honour of being your pet project (no pun intended), for becoming part of our family, and for loving Corfu and its cats enough to step in when we needed it most. You appeared once more at exactly the right time — call it fate, call it a guardian angel — and helped us through another milestone we simply could not postpone any longer: finally renovating our shelter.

Your generosity has changed things for us in a way that is difficult to put into words. You have allowed us to make our home safer and better for the cats, and to keep doing what we do — saving and changing feline lives.

So a massive thank you to the owner of this beautiful boy, Leonard. Thank you for believing in us, for being proud of what we do, and for becoming part of our rather chaotic family.

And as we always say — behind every healthy and saved cat there are a bunch of strong women… and, in our case, a guardian angel. ❤️
