Her story

Our royal girl needs a calm home.

This beautiful girl has been our resident cat for more than five years. She arrived pregnant, and sadly she had lost her babies. After her surgery she moved into a little house that was still used as a storage room and claimed it as her home — but it soon became a kitten nursery and a place for handicapped and blind cats, which brought tremendous distress to our queen.

She developed anxiety that triggers pancreatic flare-ups, so she needs a regulated diet, something impossible to provide in a shelter. She also needs to live indoors: due to constant sun exposure she developed ear cancer and has already had surgery, but sadly that is only a temporary solution.

To help prevent further flare-ups, she is now staying with a foster family — who will soon return to Brazil, so she desperately needs a home.

She is our royal girl. She loves being brushed and tolerates other cats, but for the sake of her health a calm, single-cat household would be her dream home. She is sterilised and vaccinated and, apart from her sensitivity to stress, is one of the healthiest cats we have ever had.
