His story

A quirky little fighter with a big heart.

This sweet and, as you can see, very unique boy arrived at our shelter a little over a month ago. He looked like one of those kittens we take in thinking, "We'll do our best, but this one will most likely not make it."

These fragile little souls deserve extra love and extra attention because you feel that this may be all the kindness they will ever experience in this world, and if their time comes, you want them to leave gently, feeling loved and protected.

But then Babe surprised us. He fought like hell to get stronger, and now, at around 4Β½ months old, he is fully vaccinated and running freely around our little garden, playing with his friends and being the quirky, silly little boy that fills our hearts with joy.

I often think that the kittens who have had the hardest start in life grow into the most unique characters. It is as if their experiences shape them into something moreβ€”more curious, more appreciative of life's adventures and miracles, with just a little more zest for life.

Babe is special. Even from the pictures and little videos, I am sure you can feel it. He would be the perfect addition to any household, whether quiet or chaotic. He has a personality to match everyone, gets along well with other cats and older children, and is young enough to become friends with a dog.

He is fully vaccinated and a healthy baby boy.
