Amore, the little fighter who never stopped smiling
Amore was abandoned at our shelter for some reason — absolutely soaked, shivering, covered in fleas and badly malnourished. She looked terrible and suffered from severe diarrhoea for a long time.
Then, after a long stay at the clinic, she developed severe constipation, so her kittenhood was anything but easy. Every day seemed to bring a new hurdle for this tiny girl, and her survival was far from certain.
And yet, at her foster home, she was such a loving, quiet little girl — happy with any toy and grateful for every meal, something that is still her biggest weakness.
Today, Amore is our little star: a bundle of mischief, curiosity and a desperate need for human connection. She is an unstoppable force of life — the first to greet every visitor, the first to show off her toys, and the first to rub herself against any available hand.
Her recovery was only possible thanks to weeks of veterinary care, medication and the patience of her foster family. If you’d like to help us care for the next kitten who arrives in Amore’s condition, any contribution towards our vet and medical costs makes a real difference.
